Using ArrivTrack

Practical guidance for using ArrivTrack effectively each day.

Getting started

  • Login: Sign in with your email and password. Administrator accounts require email/password only (Google sign-in is not available).
  • Dashboards: Parents, students, drivers, and administrators each have tools tailored to their role.
  • Settings: Manage profile information and preferences in Account Settings.

For parents

  • Track your student: Open the Parent Dashboard to view bus location and ETA when available.
  • Messages: Use Messages to communicate with school staff when enabled for your district.
  • Attendance Reports: Submit attendance reports (single-day, multi-day, or partial-day) from the app or website. You can add excuse letters and supporting details from the Attendance History page.
  • No-account students: If your student does not have an account, you can still track and manage attendance actions through approved tracking requests.

For students

  • Dashboard: View bus status and ETA based on your assigned stop/route.
  • Emergency: Use the Emergency feature only for immediate medical or safety emergencies.

For drivers

  • Driver Dashboard: View route info and operational tools for your assigned bus.
  • Verify students: Use verification and QR tools when enabled for your district.
  • Messages: Communicate with staff when enabled.

For admins

  • Admin Panel: Manage data and configuration within your assigned permissions.
  • Admin Settings: Configure district-level controls such as subscriptions, routes, notices, and requests.
  • Routes: Create and maintain routes and stops; road-based route calculation is supported.

Troubleshooting

  • ETA not showing: The bus may be offline, unassigned, or not yet reporting GPS data.
  • Notices not loading: Verify your network connection; the app may still display cached notices.
  • Can’t cancel ride: Confirm that the correct student is selected and the date range is valid.
